Mission:
This area concerns teaching and research spanning basic science through applied clinical investigation about the molecular and biological bases of cancer development, early diagnosis (taking advantage of novel technologies), innovative and evidence-based therapeutic approaches as well as prevention strategies.

  • Cancer Genetics
  • Mechanisms of carcinogenesis
  • Clinics of cancer: including a) diagnosis, b) primary and secondary prevention, c) treatment
